Walkie-talkie is an item in Lethal Company.
The walkie-talkie is used to communicate between players over long distances. It can be very useful for cross-map communication. It requires power and needs to be switched on to both transmit voice to other players and receive voice.
Controls[]
- [Q] - Turns the walkie-talkie on/off.
- [LMB] - Holding down the left mouse button will capture your voice and nearby sounds, transmitting it to those who have their walkie-talkie turned on.
- [Z] - Zooms the player's view while holding the walkie-talkie.
Notes[]
- Monsters will be attracted to the sound of the device turning on or off and when speaking into the device
- Monsters will not be attracted to sounds made on the other end of the call
- The battery slowly drains while the device is turned on.
- Having an active Walkie-Talkie in hand while texting will broadcast the message to other players with active Walkie-Talkies.
- Can be used virtually anywhere on the map, even when there are players both inside and outside the facilities.
- The battery can be used as a clock. A full workday lasts 11.3 minutes before you're forced to leave the premises, almost matching the walkie-talkie's total battery life of 13.7 minutes.
- As such, it is not recommended to recharge the walkie-talkie during the day.[1]
