Version 45 Trailer
Version 45 of Lethal Company, also known as "The Frosty Update", was released on steam on 9 December 2023.
The update mainly added nutcrackers, masks and the masked entity along with some basic gameplay and QOL changes including the new arachnophobia mode.

- Added chemistry flasks and dramatic Masks, nutcrackers with guns and spray paint cans for funs.
- Rail cheese has been nearly destroyed, but the forest giant is easier to avoid.
- Added to radar boosters the "flash" command, and the ship's new "signal translator" will be in great demand.
- Keybind settings are in, and I gave the item delivery ship a jolly spin.
- Gravity is more dangerous, but improved Mansion map generations will be good for us.
- Arachnophobia mode will ease your fear, and I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Gameplay Changes[]
- Railing cheese has almost been entirely removed, meaning it is no longer possible to stand on railings to avoid entities such as the thumper, jester, etc.
- Radar Booster gained the flash command, emitting a blinding flash to nearby creatures.
- Fall damage has been changed and employees are now able to die from it (read more).
- The dropship melody has been changed to a jingle bells tune.
- Procedural dungeon generation of the mansion was adjusted, allowing more turrets to spawn.
- The radar-booster can now be used to flash entities by typing "flash XYZ" in the ship's terminal.
- Forest keepers were adjusted to be slightly less dangerous.
- Employees now have a fear timer that increases with the giant looking at them. The game also plays a audible noise during that period.
- The giants are now completely deaf and unable to detect employees based on noises.
- The giant's movement speed now ramps from 5 to 7 when starting a chase instead of going to 8 immediately.
- Thumpers are now unable to attack employees mid-air.
- The bunker spider now runs slightly faster when on one HP.
- The variable that counts how many days all employees have survived now only gets incremented when the crew has found at least 30c worth of scrap in that round. This variable is used in various calculations such as entity spawning.
QOL Changes[]
- Added discord activity integration
- Added arachnophobia mode that replaces spiders with a 3D text saying "spider".
- Keybindings can now be changed in the settings menu.
