Mask Hornets, or Butler Bees, are insectoid entities in Lethal Company.
They can't spawn in the regular spawn cycles like other entities, but only when a Butler is killed. They behave similarly to Circuit Bees, aimlessly flying around the facility searching for employees. They will linger until the ship leaves the moon.

Mask hornets
The Mask Hornets, despite being scannable, do not have a Bestiary log. This tracks canonically, as according to Sigurd's logs, the Butlers do not have an official bestiary entry, much less the Mask Hornets that spawn from their bodies.
Occurrence[]
The Mask Hornets do not have a spawn chance as they are spawned when Butlers are killed. Below is the spawn table for the Butler.

Behavior[]
When a Butler dies, Mask Hornets are spawned, which will start attacking nearby employees. The hornets are invincible, meaning once spawned, they will stay until the ship leaves the moon. Fortunately, though, they cannot go outside.
Trivia[]
- Mask hornets move significantly slower in single player. This, combined with butlers having less health, makes the enemy significantly easier to deal with. This is likely to compensate for the butler's mechanics being designed around multiplayer.
