A Dramatic Mask (either Comedy or Tragedy) is a type of special scrap item in Lethal Company that can turn a willing employee into a Masked.
Once picked up, an employee can choose to hold the mask to their face. Every 5 seconds, there is a 65% chance they will turn into a Masked, an uncontrollable entity that acts like an employee and hunts down its crew mates. When an employee turns, the only escape they have is to be teleported within 5 seconds. Leaving the facility in this time will not remove the mask.
Carrying the mask without intentionally wearing it does not possess an employee, nor does dying with a mask in the inventory or nearby.

- This is the first scrap item to be able to kill an employee using it and turn them into an entity.
- The masks are rumored to be inspired by SCP-035, but this was confirmed to be a coincidence on Zeekerss' Patreon post "Christmas chaos--so many fast choices".[1]
- Putting the mask on while in the ship can still cause it to attach to a player, causing that player to turn as soon as the ship lands.
- The player will not turn as long as the ship remains in orbit.
- Tragedy masks turns into a comedy mask when possessing a player.
- Putting on a mask on the company moon will kill the player instead of converting them into a Masked.
- Tragedy masks cannot be taken off after being worn.
- Being teleported will cause the player to drop the mask, removing it from the player's face.
- Storing the mask in the Storage Cabinet will also remove the mask from the player's inventory, even while it is being worn.
- If a player has already been killed, the mask cannot be removed, even by teleporting them.
- Comedy masks can occasionally laugh in a deep man's voice, while Tragedy masks can cry.
- Contrary to popular belief, dying with a mask in the player's inventory does not convert the player into a Masked.
- Masks also do not attempt to possess employees. The only way to be possessed is to actively use the mask.
