The following entities can perceive and react to noise in some way. Some entities use noises for targeting and some use it for attention, meaning they start looking at the position where the noise originated.

  • Activatable items like the airhorn have a variable noise loudness and pitch, which is randomly chosen every time the noise is played.
  • Eyeless dogs are unable to hear any ambient noises and noises that have a volume of less than 0.25.
  • Baboon hawks are unable to detect their own and other baboon hawk's noises.
